Dr. Wuraola Abiola is the Chairman of Nibra Designs Limited. A strategy expert, she started her career as a management consultant at McKinsey & Co (New York and London Offices), where she worked primarily in the areas of strategy and organisation in the
financial and health sectors.
For over two decades, Dr. Abiola has advised organisations in Nigeria and Africa in the areas of leadership, organisational development, strategy, governance, risk management and policy development & implementation. She sits on the board of several companies in diverse sectors of the economy including oil & gas, manufacturing, IT/Fintech, outsourcing services etc. She is a member of the Nigerian Chartered Institute of Bankers (CIBN) Research, Strategy and Advocacy Committee. She was conferred with an Honorary Senior Membership (HCIB) by the CIBN in October 2014.
Dr. Abiola has honoured invitations to deliver papers in several local and international
conferences and seminars including the Annual International Women's Leadership
Foundation Fellows Forum seminar at the Judge Institute of Management, Cambridge
University; 2013 International Payment Systems Conference in Abuja (on Governance of
Financial Markets Infrastructure); Finance Week West Africa 2014 (on Women in
Leadership). Committed to the development of human capital, she served on the Nigeria
Financial Sector Strategy (FSS) 2020 Subcommittee on Human Capital Development
Dr. Abiola has a B.Sc. in Accounting from the University of San Francisco (summa cum
laude) and MBA (specialising in the Management of Innovation and Technology) and Ph.D. in Organisational Behaviour both from Imperial College, London University. She also holds a diploma in Environmental Risk Assessment and Management from the Harvard School of Public Health. She is a certified Global Professional in Human Resources (GPHR) by the Society for Human Resource Management and an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria.

Over 20 Years of experience including 7 years Executive Director level position in Commercial Retail, Marketing and Business Leadership in top global multinationals – Guinness, Diageo and Coca-Cola and a General Management Experience in a leading Nigerian Bank - FCMB. He has been responsible for building and growing global brands including but not limited to Coke, Fanta, Guinness, Baileys, Johnnie Walker and also creating and building new brands like Orijin and Snap.
A professional with extensive experience acquired since 1993 in the footwear sector, possessing specialization in development, production, distribution, marketing, importation and exportation concentrated on all areas Footwears.
Studied Administration with emphasis on marketing, Universidade de Paulista (UNIP), digital marketing, Comschool, and several courses of improvement in the area footwear throughout his life; was owner and manager of network of footwear stores in Brazil, distributor, representative, commercial and industrial manager of several Brazilian companies, industrial owner, responsible for rendering consultation and restoring several retail and industrial companies to the competitive market in Brazil, current Co-founder and technical development director Nibra Footware project and relationship - Nigeria / Brazil. Ugo Ikemba was the inaugural CEO of Nibra Design Limited. Prior to this, he was the Project Coordinator of the World Bank-funded Growth and Employment (GEM) Project which is a $160 million dollar fund focused on SMEs and MSMEs in Nigeria.
Ugo has served as a Commissioner on the Board of the Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC”) of Nigeria. Prior to the SEC he was the Regional Partner in South Africa with the Rohatyn Group’s (“TRG”) Africa Catalyst PE fund. TRG is a US-based leading asset management firm. Prior to TRG he was the Country Managing Partner in Lagos for Vectis Capital, a Greece-based PE firm.
His private equity foundation was established at the private equity firm of African Capital Alliance. Ugo has served on the investment committees of various PE firms and is the majority shareholder of Gemstone Capital Partners Integrated Services, an impact investment focused firm. Ugo has a strong bias for achieving superior returns while ensuring world class corporate governance and impact.
In 2012, he founded Road Warriors, the largest marathon club in Nigeria. The Road Warriors club members have participated in over 100 International marathons.
Irunna Ejibe is the CEO of Nibra Designs Ltd. A dynamic and pragmatic executive with proven leadership and start-up skills spread across Power Generation & distribution, Banking, Human Resources, Customer Services and Consultancy Management services in both international and local institutions. She started her career started in 1995 with Citibank Nigeria (Nigeria International Bank).
Her over 20 years’ experience covers several cross functional and project teams, in various aspects of Human Resource Development, Performance Management, Talent Management, Strategy, Corporate Governance, Investor relations, Business Development, Process and Cost Improvement, Cultural Transformation and Change Management.
Prior to her current role as the CEO of Nibra Designs; she was the Executive Director, Shared Services of Viathan Engineering Ltd, a group of five power plants with combined installed capacity of 50MW.
Irunna is a hands-on strategic thinker, accustomed to developing human capital, setting up processes, instilling strong organisational values and managing year on year growth.
She has a first degree in Chemical Engineering from Enugu State University of Technology and an M.Sc. in International Human Resources Management from Cranfield University, UK.

Samusideen Ayodeji Abiola is a Director at Nibra Designs Limited. He brings to the board thirty years experience of running successful businesses across different sectors in Nigeria and Africa including energy, agricultural, automotive and publishing industries. He is the
Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of a group of companies including Caledonian Technology & Medical Limited, Caledonian Farms Limited, Caledonian Motors Limited, Abiola Publishing Limited and AP Capital (UK) Limited. He was also the Publisher of the widely circulated African Concord and African Economist Digest until both publications were rested in 2002.
Deji Abiola holds a BSc in Business Administration (Banking and Finance) from the California State University and a MSc in Finance from the University of Lancaster, UK. He also holds a Diploma in Marketing from the Institute of Marketing, UK. He is a member of many professional associations and a Fellow of the Institute of Information Management in Nigeria.
